STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

In keeping with International best-practice, the Authority will seek the services of organisations that are experienced in organizing and running Hackathons, to provide innovation experts to assist with organisation and adjudication, whilst the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) will provide the subject matter experts. Similar arrangements are in place in organisations like the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), who organize and run their Hackathons jointly with Innovation experts like the Impact Hub Geneva. In Zimbabwe Telone and Netone have been working with similar organisations to organize and run their Hackathons. Such arrangements will ensure the success of the Hackathon since the Authority will be working with experts in the field. Selection of the strategic partners will be done in line with public procurement regulations.
